Job description
From your colleague in Sales you receive the first draft of the technical solution for the customer. You will then develop this concept plan, which makes you responsible for the final technical design and corresponding solution(s).
In this coordinating role, you will first of all ensure that the work is distributed among the fellow Engineers who, together with you, will further develop the design in SolidWorks and Eplan. You will also be responsible for drawing up bills of materials, following the project planning and monitoring the quality of the drawings. This also includes the dimensioning of components and the preparation of certain calculations. For example, you can think of dimensioning of drive modules, protections and bus bars. But also making short-circuit, arc flash and heat loss calculations.
After completing the designs, working drawings are made for colleagues in the workshop. There you will see your design come to life. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the test plan and as-built drawings of the multidrive system, including final delivery.
You will work in a team of ten enthusiastic Electrical, Mechanical and Automation Engineers with expertise in SolidWorks and E-Plan. In addition, our R&D department offers opportunities to use your knowledge for new solutions and products.
What are you bringing?
You are creative in devising customized electrical solutions for the customer. In addition, you are used to working in an overall role in which you manage a (small) team of engineers, but also have frequent contact with customers, suppliers and the various departments within your own organization.
Furthermore, you have;
- A completed college education in electrical engineering;
- A high regard for quality;
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
