Van Meer is a system integrator and service provider for electrical and mechanical drive systems for various sectors of industry and the marine sector. Our core business includes the engineering, installation, maintenance and management of electrical and mechanical installations throughout their entire life cycle.
Our company was founded in 1991 and has offices in the Netherlands and Belgium. We operate mainly in Benelux and the EMEA region. We operate in the field of rotary devices, including electric motors, pumps, industrial fans and geared motors and provide support for drive equipment such as frequency controls, soft starters and drive systems.
Our service team is on standby 24/7 for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and breakdown of electrical and mechanical drives.
The current economic situation has led to extreme delivery times for new electric motors and lead-times are up to 36 weeks for standard low-voltage motors! These lead- times can result in extended periods of downtime for production processes and a great deal of tension due to unexpected breakdowns or rotary device failure. Van Meer offers quick delivery of electric motors up to 160kW from our emergency stock! We get you up and running again as quickly as possible!
During planned shutdowns, Van Meer can be called in to carry out preventive maintenance on rotary machinery and frequency controllers.
Our certified team has experience in a range of industries and supports you from disassembly to commissioning during a shutdown.
Control cabinets and electrical panels are built with care and dedication. Accuracy and discipline are key attributes of Van Meer employees. Nevertheless, testing is vital before products leave for their final destination. We provide test facilities for live testing of modules and panels in our workshop. We carry out the necessary FAT inspections with customers and notified bodies (Lloyd's, DNV-GL, AIB Vinçotte and other independent inspection bodies) are called in to inspect the delivery phase.
