Smarter Storage Solutions for Future Growth and Efficiency

A new facility also means a new and larger warehouse. This new warehouse will offer space for as many as 2,000 pallets and is designed to increase our efficiency and meet the growing needs of our customers.

Inventory management for minimal downtime

The new warehouse will not only serve as a storage space. It will act as a strategic storage site for various essential components for our

processes and customers. The warehouse will house project-specific parts, spare parts, and production components. In addition, it will provide a strategic emergency supply of electrical and mechanical parts, as well as components for contract customers, enabling us to respond quickly to customer issues and minimize unexpected downtime.

Smart Warehouse Management System: Efficient, Sustainable, and Reliable  Our warehouse is equipped with a smart warehouse management system (WMS) that monitors inventory in real-time and automatically places orders when an item falls below its critical stock level. This allows us to maintain optimal stock levels without manual intervention. The WMS enhances efficiency by optimizing routes within the warehouse, reducing lead times, and minimizing waste. This enables us to offer faster delivery times, while product and part availability remain reliable, even with high demand or unexpected shortages.

Additionally, our system provides accurate, real-time updates on order statuses, as all shipments are tracked from the warehouse to delivery. Safety and access control are integrated, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access specific areas, with all activities logged for enhanced security and traceability.

Wouter van Meer Speaks  “In our previous warehouse, a location had to be created manually for each inventory item, resulting in limited oversight and inefficiencies, which led to longer lead times. With our new WMS, that’s a thing of the past.

With the smart warehouse management system, items that are received can be tracked at all times. This helps prevent waste, as duplicate orders are needed less frequently.

This makes the process sustainable and prevents excess materials from accumulating or being discarded. Additionally, in the future, we can leverage the WMS's smart capabilities to determine more efficient picking routes. The system can independently determine the most efficient storage positions based on fast-moving items.”
